Professor Thomas WONG Kwok-shing, JP, is a distinguished academic and leader with over 40 years of experience in education and healthcare. Currently serving as the Acting President of Hong Kong Nang Yan College, he also holds prestigious appointments as Distinguished Professor at Guangzhou Medical University and Guangzhou Huashang College. Professor Wong is a pioneering figure in health innovation, having founded two companies dedicated to knowledge transfer and health research and development. His extensive career includes foundational roles such as the Founding President of Tung Wah College and former Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. An expert in applying information technology to nursing education, geriatric care, and clinical practice, his research interests encompass health informatics, chronic wounds, integrative care, mobile health technologies and wearable healthcare devices. With over 160 SCI publications, 11 patents, and numerous international awards, his outstanding contributions were recognized when he was listed in Stanford University's "World's Top 2% Scientists" in 2021 and 2025.
